The ProBatch 365 Research and Development app makes it possible: Research and Development (R&D) is seamlessly integrated into your ERP processes. From purchasing to inventory management as well as recipe and costing right through to sample handling - the app supports you every step of the way. Integrated automatic documentation provides research and analysis options such as A/B comparisons of formulation levels throughout the entire product life cycle.
Application of development formulations
Development recipes are at the heart of product development and also serve as
documentation. They include all necessary input materials as well as production
steps to create an R&D item. You can also use them to develop existing
items, improve them, or make them more affordable.
Specific R&D items
R&D items are special items with their own number series and reduced master
data. These can be purchased like other items and, e.g., sold as samples. In
doing so, you use both logistics functionalities and inventory management.
Sample processing
Process samples with both customers and suppliers. Use warehouse and logistics for
efficient processing. In addition, you work with the full set of familiar
features in administration. In combination with YAVEON ProBatch 365 Quality
Assurance, you also ensure the sample quality.
Compare development recipes and manufacturing specifications
You can show differences between specifications and recipes - simply use the
A to B comparison.
Integration of item features
The item features from the YAVEON ProBatch 365 Base app can be used throughout
the development. You can see them in the pages and edit them there directly.
And there’s more: Calculate feature values of the development product, e.g.,
based on the feature values of the components in the development recipe.
Cost and price calculation (combined with ProBatch 365 Costing app)
Do you want to determine the cost or price of your development product? Nothing
could be easier, with the ProBatch 365 Costing app: Calculate costs as well as
prices of one or more development products with a few clicks, based on the
development recipes.
